Ilya Molchanov named IMS Fellow
Ilya Molchanov, Professor, University of Bern, has been named Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMSV).

Prof. Dr. Molchanov received the award for developing and applying methods for the analysis of random sets, contributing to many parts of probability theory and statistics, from multivariate distributions, stochastic processes to estimation of level sets, curves and applications to image analysis, and econometrics and finance, and the monograph "Random Sets".
